Phil Taylor, the Bryan man accused of shooting and killing four dogs at his now-estranged wife’s home, back in June, is sentenced to 12 months in prison. The defense argued that serious health concerns, including mental health issues, on the part of Taylor be considered during sentencing. Additionally, alcohol was cited as playing a large role in the incident. The prosecution countered Taylor had a history of domestic violence issues and that the violence was committed with malice in this case. Taylor reports to CCNO on Monday.
