Thanks For Everything, Mayor Johnson

Bryan Mayor, Douglas Johnson has officially retired from his mayoral post after 16 years. He attended his final council meeting as mayor on Wednesday. On Thursday, former council vice-president Carrie Schlade took the oath of office, becoming just the fourth Bryan mayor in the past 40 years. Schlade is the city’s first-ever female mayor.
