The Bryan Police Department and the Williams County Sheriff’s Office continued to combat drug abuse in the county in 2022. Bryan’s police chief delivered his 2022 review of the police department operations this week. He pointed out Williams County accounted for nearly 25% of the cases handled through the Multi Area Narcotics Unit last year. There are six counties that have law enforcement agencies in the unit. There were 471 total drug cases handled through the MAN Unit in 2022, and 110 of those involved Williams County.
