The Latest Storm Coverage

Sunday’s storm causes severe damage throughout the area along with multiple power outages. In Findlay, a tornado touched down at Highland Estates, near Melrose and Crystal Avenues…that led to a mandatory evacuation for area residents, due to gas leaks. The evacuation was later lifted. Findlay Schools will be closed today, due to damage. Archbold and Wauseon didn’t escape the storm. The La Choy factory in Archbold has significant wind damage. Seneca to Tiffin to the Toledo suburbs all report damage. Over in Jay County…residents were ordered to stay off the streets after a tornado caused considerable damage near Portland and Dunkirk. Dozens of homes, barns, and other buildings are wrecked. Flooding is a problem, too. Power outages range in the thousands.
