Third annual March for the Fallen set for August 16th.

The F3 Black Swamp men’s group is preparing for the third annual March for the Fallen 13-mile hike, or ruck. This year’s March for the Fallen event will be held Aug. 16 from 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Independence Dam State Park. Participants will meet near the playground area. The event was created to honor the fallen service members who died when U.S. forces withdrew from Afghanistan on Aug. 26, 2021.
