Thomas Zedaker, 51

Thomas E. Zedaker, 51 years, of Bryan, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Evergreen Manor, Montpelier.  Tom was born February 6, 1963 in Quantico, Virginia, the son of Edwin and Evelyn (Fisher) Zedaker.  He was a 1981 graduate of Stryker High School.  He attended Four County Joint Vocational School and studied Food Service during high school.  Tom married Debbie D. Purk on August 3, 1985, and she preceded him in death on May 31, 1991.  Tom worked as a machine operator for Bryan Die Cast in Bryan.  He had also worked at the former Lester’s Diner.   He was a member of Bryan First Church of Christ.  Tom was an avid Notre Dame fan and followed the Detroit Tigers and enjoyed golfing.

Surviving are his mother, Evelyn Adams of Waldron, Michigan; two sisters, Angela (Chester) Lucas of Waldron, Michigan and Kelly Dorsey of Waldron, Michigan; two nieces, Katrina (John) Riker of Litchfield, Michigan and Barbara (David) Keller of Ransom, Michigan; two nephews, Daniel (Hilary) Lucas of Norwalk, Iowa and Andrew (Linda) Dorsey of Lehi, Utah; nine great-nephews and one great-niece with another on the way, soon to arrive; aunt & uncle, Janet and Larry Short of Archbold.  He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin, and his wife, Debbie.

Funeral services for Thomas E. Zedaker will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2014 in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home-Greenisen Chapel, 225 East High Street, Bryan with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating.  Interment will follow in Williams Center Cemetery, rural Bryan.  Visitation for Tom will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday and continue until the time of his service at 1:00 p.m. Monday.
