TORNADO SIRENS OPERATIONAL AGAIN

The village hall tornado siren in Holiday City is operational again after being out of service for about a year.

Over time, Mohr Electronics has replaced all the components of the siren.

According to the Bryan Times, the cost to get it back in working order, including parts and labor, was $4,708.

An additional tornado siren was ordered last month and has arrived. It will be installed Aug. 29 and 30 near the village water tower.
