Tour de Book is Saturday

The 3rd annual Tour de Book is this Saturday. The cost to ride one of two distinct bicycle routes is $30 for an individual or a family, and all proceeds benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. After the event, participants will receive an age-appropriate book in the mail each month from Dolly’s library for a child up to age 5. One route is 3.6 miles with a midpoint stop at Spangler Candy Company. The other route is for serious riders, 22 miles from the Bryan YMCA to the Montpelier Library. Both routes leave at 10:30 a.m. from the Y and registration begins at 9:30 a.m. All riders are asked to wear helmets.
