Tractor driver killed in weekend crash with motorcyclist

A Defiance man was killed on Saturday afternoon when his lawn tractor was hit by a man on a motorcycle. The victim on the tractor, 68-year-old Lynn Wickerhan, was ejected from the tractor after pulling into the roadway on County Road 209 from the shoulder. He was hit by 34-year-old Travis Urbina of Defiance, who was also ejected from his motorcycle. According to the Ohio Highway Patrol’s Van Wert post, Wickerham died at the scene. Urbina was transported to the hospital.
