Five rail cars derail on a bridge that crosses over South Anthony Boulevard, just southeast of downtown Fort Wayne. A crew was backing the 7,559 foot long train with 121 rail cars out of a small switching yard before it departed for Pennsylvania, when the derailment took place. Four of the cars fell on their side and a fifth left the tracks but remained upright. The intersection of South Anthony Boulevard and Creighton Avenue was closed to traffic. It has since reopened.
