Defiance is hosting a sprint-triathalon for the sixth year this year. Athletes will gather at Defiance Municipal Reservoir on Saturday for the three-tiered race which includes a half-mile swim, a 12-mile bike race and a 3.1 mile run. That begins at 8 a.m., then followed by the Defiance Optimist 5k Reservoir Run-Walk at 8:30 a.m.
