TURNPIKE RATES TO INCREASE

Turn­pike prices are going up next year.

The Ohio Turn­pike Com­mis­sion wants to increase prices by 2.7 per­cent each year for the next decade.

Com­mis­sion­ers say the extra rev­enue would go towards fund­ing a $1.5 bil­lion in turn­pike bonds and pay for con­struc­tion projects near the turn­pike.
