Turnpike Wreck Leads To Arrest

Indiana troopers are investigating a two vehicle crash at the 125 mile marker on the Turnpike, which resulted in the arrest of a Minnesota man. A truck traveling westbound, pulling a trailer hauling machine equipment, was rear ended by a car. It was found 32 year old Steffen Levine from St. Paul had been operating the car while under drunk. Levine was brought in to the LaGrange County jail for DUI. The driver of the truck and her passenger both complained of neck and back pain, but refused medical attention. It is believed Levine was traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass Wilson’s truck and trailer when the crash occurred. Levine was not injured.
