Two facing murder charges of Hillsdale County man

40 year old Jay Scott Clark and 27 year old Ashely Diane Hoath will stand trial for the murder of Jeremy Alan Barron, according to Hillsdale County Assistant Prosecutor Rod Hassinger. The 40 year old Clark of Bryan is facing multiple charges including murder and drug possession. Hoath of Hillsdale, was arrested as an accessory after the fact. She is also facing multiple charges in connection to the murder. If the district court judge rules that the probable causes are there, the pair will be bound over to the Hillsdale County Circuit Court and a trial date will be announced. Clark and Hoath were arrested after police executed search warrants at Clark’s home and workplace. The motive behind the murder has yet to be determined but Hoath was known to have had a relationship with both men, according to Hassinger.
