Uniform Suit In Defiance Shelved

The court throws out a lawsuit against the city of Defiance, claiming a breach of contract concerning employee uniforms. Cintas Corporation, which has an office in Perrysburg, filed the suit in January…it noted that the city extended a five-year contract to Cintas in December 2015 for employee uniforms. However, according to the suit, the city decided to cancel the contract four months before then. Later, council had passed an ordinance that December, allowing a new contract with UniFirst Corporation for the employee uniforms. City officials indicated earlier this year that the city had been displeased with Cintas.
