VACANT HOME BURNS IN DEFIANCE

Fire­fight­ers were called out Wednes­day morn­ing to a fire at a vacant home on Mil­wau­kee Avenue in Defi­ance. Defi­ance Fire Depart­ment arrived on the scene at about 3:30 a.m. yes­ter­day where they received mutual aid by High­land Town­ship and Noble Town­ship fire depart­ments.

The house, which was destroyed, will be torn down. No cause for the blaze has been deter­mined yet.
