Walker Faces Court Soon

A Coldwater man, charged with sexually assaulting a female friend, will have his case sent to Branch County Circuit Court. 34 year old, Travis Walker is facing a charge of first degree criminal sexual conduct causing personal injury, following an incident on October 26. He will have a pre-trial conference on November 27. Michigan State Police were called to a Branch County residence, where a 68 year old woman said she had been assaulted by Walker, who came over to visit her. The two have known each other for years. Walker has denied assaulting the woman. He is being held in the Branch County Jail.
