An area of the city’s water infrastructure is soon to get some improvements from Bryan Municipal Utilities. The Bryan Board of Public Affairs approved a $454,208 project to update 4,000 feet of 100-year-old water main, 75 customer lines and seven fire hydrants along South Walnut and East South streets. The project will be financed by BMU’s water fund. Officials say no fee hikes are expected to help pay for the work.
