The Williams County Health District earns accreditation from the national Public Health Accreditation Board. Ohio requires county health departments to be accredited by July 1, 2020. Williams County is just the 20th of 88 counties in the state to receive the distinction. It means the health district meets or exceeds a common set of national standards. The accreditation last five years with yearly reviews.
