Weapons Charges In Sherwood

Defiance County deputies get a firearms complaint in Sherwood that leads to charges 20 minutes later. Witnesses told officers Stephen Shaw fired off a round while attempting to enter a residence on South Taylor Street. Deputies got a description of Shaw. An Ohio State trooper spotted his vehicle on U.S. 24 at Defiance-Paulding County Line Road and pulled Shaw, of Oakwood, over, where he was arrested and charged with OVI, possession of marijuana and felony mishandling of a firearm.
