A planning commission recommendation to prohibit the growing and processing of medical marijuana in the city received city leaders’ unanimous support at the Napoleon City Council. The city’s current temporary moratorium on marijuana cultivation was set to expire this month, but was renewed by council vote in August. Council then voted to direct to draft a permanent moratorium.
