Westville, Indiana man facing multiple traffic charges after high speed chase

A total of nine law enforcement agencies were involved in a high speed chase of a vehicle Sunday afternoon. The chase started in Quincy, Michigan in Branch County and ended just east of Waterloo, Indiana in DeKalb County. It resulted in the arrest of Craig Delong of Westville, IN. Delong was taken into custody by Dekalb County Sheriff’s Deputies and lodged in their facility. A juvenile passenger was also taken into custody by Dekalb officers. Authorities in DeKalb say Delong is facing initial charges related to driving with a lifetime license suspension, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, criminal recklessness with a vehicle, and reckless driving. There were no injuries during the event.
