A strong effort is being made to garner ideas from the public about repurposing the current Defiance Middle School campus on Arabella Street. A town hall meeting was held Monday evening at Defiance Community Auditorium to hear input, as to options for the future of the 1918 building, currently housing the middle school students. The aging building will be vacated in December when grades 6-8 relocate to the new school on Palmer Drive, that is designed to house grades 6-12.
