Williams Co. Commissioners get update on SART team.

The Sexual Abuse Response Team of Northwest Ohio has been performing more exams in recent years and it’s leading to burnout among its nurses. Williams County commissioners got an update from the Center for Child and Family Advocacy Executive Director Roberta Mack and Sharla Young of its SART clinic this week.
The Center for Child and Family Advocacy works closely with the county’s victim assistance and with local victim’s rights organization, Sarah’s Friends. The agency has an office in the county and a clinician is there two days a week. The agency also get referrals from Williams County Juvenile Court, as well as Williams County Job and Family Services.
