WILLIAMS COMMISSIONERS MAKE APPOINTMENTS

Williams County Com­mis­sion­ers accepted one res­ig­na­tion and made two appoint­ments Mon­day.

Depart­ment of Job and Fam­ily Ser­vices Social Ser­vices Super­vi­sor Geri Sev­ers sub­mit­ted a let­ter of res­ig­na­tion for retire­ment, effec­tive Dec. 31. The board accepted it “with regrets,”.

The Bryan Times reports this morn­ing that Com­mis­sion­ers also appointed Ned Allen Garver and Neil Ober­lin to serve on the Board of Devel­op­men­tal Dis­abil­i­ties for one term, Jan. 1, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2016. Garver will replace LeRoy Feather, who resigned at the end of his term. Ober­lin will replace Mar­lene Oxen­der who com­pleted a third and final term.
