Williams County Crash Leaves One Man Dead

A crash Tues­day after­noon in Williams County leaves a man dead, and a woman with seri­ous injuries. It hap­pened right around 5 yes­ter­day after­noon at the inter­sec­tion of County Road 15.D and U.S. 127, when the man, in a Pon­tiac Vibe was struck by an east­bound Dodge Durango. The Pon­tiac then slammed into a util­ity pole… The Durango came to rest on the north side of 127. The man, whose name has not yet been released, was pro­nounced dead at the scene. The woman, whose name also is being with­held, was taken by ambu­lance to an area hos­pi­tal. The cause of the crash and other details are under inves­ti­ga­tion today.
