Williams County looking at costs for cameras and tasers

Williams County Commissioners are looking for bids to buy in-car cameras for their sheriff’s office cruisers, and are looking for two all-wheel drive SUV’s. Five of the 14 vehicles have cameras but they are outdated, having been purchased five years ago. Commissioners instructed the department to get quotes for all 14 vehicles and they’ll consider them. Sheriff Steve Towns is also looking to buy new Tasers.
