Williams County Man Facing Murder Charge

A Williams County man has been charged with murder… again! 24 year old Tyson Reliford of Edgerton, is charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of 3-year-old Columbus girl earlier this year. Reliford was also charged with assault and child endangerment in connection to an incident that happened back in February, resulting in the death of Aiyanna Thompson, of Columbus. Reliford was originally arrested Feb. 8 after barricading himself in an apartment, but in April, the felony charges against Reliford were dropped due to the need for additional investigation. Reliford is being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on an unrelated domestic violence charge after he was sentenced in Bryan Municipal Court on Feb. 20. His release date would have been Aug. 5. Now however, in light of the new murder charge, he will likely remain in custody a bit longer.
