A Williams County man appeared Wednesday morning in Bryan Municipal Court for a preliminary hearing on a felony charge. 41 year old Jade Herzog whose last known address was Williams County Road 9 in Bryan, appeared on a charge of fleeing/eluding. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Williams County Common Pleas Court. He is being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker, on a $100,000 bond. Herzog was apprehended early New Year’s Day by deputies from the Williams County Sheriff’s Office after a crime spree through three states occurring over several days, ending with a high-speed pursuit. He was eventually arrested on Jan. 1 near Kunkle after he crashed a stolen Chevy S-10 on County Road O.
