Leaders of the nascent Williams County Veterans Memorial Heritage Museum have been hard at work, having already received the museum’s incorporation status and working toward its non-profit status. The Bryan Times reports that Joshua Francis, president of the museum board, said citizens interested in being involved in the museum have been meeting over the last few months and about three or four weeks ago formalized the board membership. As of April 17, Francis said the museum is incorporated, leaving the board to focus on finalizing the bylaws and achieving 501(c)(3) status which will take a few months to achieve.
