WILLIAMS STOLEN PROPERTY ARRESTS

The Williams County Sheriff’s Office got information about some possible stolen property near where two burglaries occurred in Pulaski Township.

Sheriff’s deputies, while investigating, discovered that a man living where the stolen items were found, Tommy

Yates, was on probation through the Williams County Adult Probation/Parole Office.

Because Yates is on probation a “probation search” of Yates’ residence was authorized by Adult Parole/Probation. That search uncovered many stolen items.

Another man, 32 year old Travis Hicks of Texas was also found at Yates’ residence.

Hicks was arrested and charged with 2nd degree Felony Burglary.

Officers say that as the investigation continues additional charges are possible.
