Woman arrested Friday after she crashes into a house

The Hanford Police Department said a woman was arrested Friday after she crashed into a house. Around 9:05 p.m., police were called to the 2400 block of Michael Way for a vehicle that had crashed into a residence. Police said officers found 24 year old Shandon Crawford leaning against a white Chevrolet Cruz. Crawford reportedly showed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and told police, “I’m drunk and I crashed.” Crawford was arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail on suspicion of DUI with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 or higher.
