It wasn’t exactly a case of using the drive-up window but customers and employees at Defiance’s Citizens National Bank got a bit of a surprise at approximately 12:40 p.m. Monday when a female driver nearly drove her SUV through the front doors. The driver reportedly had earlier struck a Defiance Police cruiser on Main Street and then drove across four lanes of Second Street, through the yard and parking lot of the bank before being stopped by a brick pillar near the doors to the bank. Defiance police continue to investigate the accident along with possible charges that may be filed against the driver.
