The penalty phase of the James Worley trial went through some delays on Monday. The opening arguments and witness presentations were set to begin at 9 a.m., but after several hours, and no testimony, Judge Jeffrey Robinson announced a recess. Worley was found guilty last week of kidnapping and killing Sierah Joughin in July 2016. This week, the jury will listen to arguments as to whether Worley should receive the death penalty or life in prison.
