Zerbe Takes Deal

The murder trial of a Fort Wayne man is stopped after he pleads guilty to the charge. The short trial saw a motion for a mistrial following opening statements in the case against Daniel Zerbe. That motion was dismissed…the state had not yet finished presenting its case when Zerbe entered a plea deal in the death of Wilma Schwartz. Paulding County Judge, Tiffany Beckman sentenced Zerbe to 15 years to life in prison.
