2 homicides and a suspicious death

Now the latest of the two deaths in Paulding county.
Sheriff Landers says they are working hard to find out how two people came to be found dead in the county.
First, the woman’s body found at an abandoned property outside of Antwerp was killed by a single gunshot to the head, according to the Paulding County Coroner. Wilma Schwartz had been reported missing. Her vehicle was found 40 miles away in Huntington County and is now being processed for evidence.
In the second case in two days, a man’s body was found near Rochester Cemetery by a man hunting for mushrooms in Crane Township. The man’s body was covered with a blanket and had been there for several weeks, according to the coroner. It’s not known at this point if the man died of natural causes or was killed.
Landers did tell WANE TV in Fort Wayne that the two cases are not connected.
The Sheriff’s Department hasn’t investigated a homicide in five years, and now find themselves very busy. All this coming after the death of Hannah Fischer in her Paulding apartment. Her 47 year old boyfriend, Frank Tracy Jr. is a suspect and has not been seen since her death.
