The Ohio State Highway Patrol will join forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on OVI enforcement from Friday, December 2 at 12:01 a.m. through Sunday, December 4 at 11:59 p.m. Along with the OSHP, this high-visibility enforcement effort will include state police from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virgina. So far in 2016, OSHP troopers have made 23,333 OVI arrests. The 6-State Trooper Project is a multi-state law enforcement partnership aimed at providing combined and coordinated law enforcement and security services in the areas of highway safety, criminal patrol and intelligence sharing.
