79-year-old Defiance man facing rape charges involving a minor

A 79-year-old Defiance man has been charged with two counts of rape involving a child under the age of 13. Miguel Urdiales of the 2100 block of Hawthorne Drive, Defiance, was arrested Thursday afternoon , and remains in custody at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Sheriff Douglas Engel said the case investigation showed that his conduct has occurred over the past 40 years. Defiance County Prosecutor Morris Murray said the case would be presented to grand jury for additional charges this week.
