A fatal crash on U.S. 24 had highway traffic closed for three hours yesterday and a local man lost his life. Troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol say 63-year-old Joe Salinas of Leipsic went the wrong way on 24 and hit a semi head on just before 3 p.m. Salinas died at the scene. The truck driver and his passenger, both from Canada, were not hurt.
