Leipsic man killed in wrong-way highway crash

A fatal crash on U.S. 24 had high­way traf­fic closed for three hours yes­ter­day and a local man lost his life. Troop­ers with the Ohio High­way Patrol say 63-year-old Joe Sali­nas of Leip­sic went the wrong way on 24 and hit a semi head on just before 3 p.m. Sali­nas died at the scene. The truck dri­ver and his pas­sen­ger, both from Canada, were not hurt.
