Pertussis outbreak being looked at by the Williams County Health Department.

A pertussis outbreak in a nearby Amish village is being looked at by the Williams County Health Department. Six confirmed instances of pertussis, sometimes known as whooping cough, have been reported among newborns, toddlers, and teenagers in the area, according to the health authority. Health officials are still keeping an eye on the situation. There is currently no sign of widespread transmission to the general public, and contact tracing activities are ongoing.
