Wauseon man charged with abduction

Police arrested a 25-year-old Wauseon man for allegedly abducting a woman on Tuesday. Police got a call from a manager of a business on Wood Drive in Napoleon who was concerned about the disappearance of a female employee from the business. The officers investigated and learned that the man, Korie O’Brien, met the woman and when she attempted to end their meeting, officers say she was abducted and taken from the county by force. Officers located O’Brien and the victim in Wauseon where O’Brien was taken into custody. He’s charged with one count of abduction and transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Police say additional charges are expected.
