Call it an offer they couldn’t refuse. West Unity officials report the village has purchased the former West Unity Medical Clinic building on 224 W. Jackson St. and will be moving its police and administrative offices there from their current location…just a few doors down at 118 W. Jackson St. It is a 3,408-square-foot, one-story former medical clinic building has been vacant and for sale for at least three years. But when the price dropped to $100,000, the village decided to approve the purchase. The Bryan Times reports Village mayor Peg Bernath said the owners were asking more. But when they dropped the price, the village couldn’t pass it up.
