The Ayersville Local Board of Education and superintendent Don Diglia answered questions about a fire that occurred at the school Oct. 4, was presented the five-year forecast, and approved a resolution for the purpose of advance refunding of bonds during its meeting Monday evening. Burdette Cooper asked the board and Diglia about school procedures in a fire, why was it a problem for the fire department to get to the fire, and why were students allowed back into the building before the all-clear was given by the fire department. According to Board president Dan Wagner, they’re looking into the matter.
