A Hicksville man was arraigned Monday in Defiance Municipal Court on several charges following a crash Wednesday afternoon. According to troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Defiance-Williams County Line Road, west of Ohio 49 in Defiance County’s Milford Township at approximately 4:58 p.m., when a westbound vehicle driven by 23 year old Daymon Walker, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a mailbox, then traveled off the right side of the road and struck two trees. He was transported by Edgerton Fire Department to Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, where a condition update was unavailable. Walker is now facing multiple charges including OVI, driving under suspension and failure to control. Walker was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker, where he is being held on a $250,000 bond.
