Edgerton Village gets a positive bump in credit rating

Edgerton Village Administrator Dawn Fitzcharles delivered news to the council Monday that she said made her year. The Bryan Times reports the village’s credit ranking has doubled over the last year and Fitzcharles said she only expects it to increase. Fitzcharles said American Municipal Power released the village’s rating on Friday, which is ranked as a percentage, with 100 being the best. She added that in 2015 the village received a score of 88 percent in the upward performance category which she called astronomical and, even with that sewer debt hanging out in 2015, Edgerton still scored really well.
