Montpelier Village Council discusses pay raises for village employees

The Montpelier Village Council went into executive session to discuss the compensation of public employees this week and took action on some pay increases for village employees. The Council voted to provide a general 2% pay increase for all full-time hourly and supervisory employees, which will include the Finance Director and the Village Manager. These increases are not to exceed the existing pay resolution and are effective for the pay period beginning this past Monday, December 19.
