Angola, Indiana man facing multiple charges after high speed pursuit

28 year old Joshua Martin of Angola, Indiana is facing multiple traffic charges in Branch County. Bond for Martin was set at $250,000. A Branch County Sheriff’s Deputy says a vehicle went by him at 9 AM on March 31 in northwest Kinderhook Township. The pickup did not have a license plate, so the deputy tried to stop it, but the truck drove off southbound on Grass Lake Road. Martin jumped a ditch at the end of the road and continued south through a field with the deputy following him. When his truck got stuck in the mud, Martin got out and ran away, but was captured after a short chase.
