The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the region through Friday. An additional 2-4 inches of precipitation is expected to fall through Friday. With ground already saturated, there is a higher potential for flooding. Emergency Management Agencies (EMA) around the region are keeping an eye on the situation. Either the Auglaize River is a factor, with flood waters coming in from the Blanchard River in Putnam County, or there is flooding on the Tiffin and Maumee rivers. The Tiffin River at Stryker is expected to crest at 15.3 feet sometime Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Flood stage is at 11 feet. At 14 feet, portions of Ohio 66 north of Archbold will flood, as will some rural buildings and parts of Stryker. Several roads around Stryker may be impassible due to high water.
