CONTINENTAL MOVES COBLE UP

Con­ti­nen­tal assis­tant fis­cal offi­cer Shelly Coble has been moved up to full-time fis­cal offi­cer. The move came dur­ing a short Con­ti­nen­tal Vil­lage Coun­cil meet­ing Tues­day.

For­mer fis­cal offi­cer Susan Gibbs requested the change, say­ing she needed some per­sonal time and will serve as an assis­tant to Coble.

Gibbs also asked coun­cil for per­mis­sion to return $74,650 to the gen­eral fund. The funds were taken out orig­i­nally to make an esti­mated pay­ment for work on the waste­water lagoon. Gibbs said she has received a check from the state for the pay­ment and now wants to return the $74,650 to the gen­eral fund. Coun­cil approved.
