A woman who told police she was unfamiliar with the road she was driving on was taken to a hospital after crashing her car on a rural DeKalb County road. Taylor Parks, 22 of Corunna, was driving on County Road 36A when she drove off the road and into a cornfield. She tried to drive back onto the road, but over-corrected and ended up rolling her car in the field. Parks told authorities she was on her way to pick up a friend for work. Emergency crews had to remove Parks from her vehicle. She suffered minor facial bruising, however there were no broken bones. Parks was discharged after treatment. Investigators continue going over the crash.
